On November 25, in Samara, the results of the national Russian Business Travel & MICE Award were summed up, the All-Russian Forum "Vector 2023: development of business tourism in the regions of Russia" was held. For three days, the region became a place for summing up, checking the hours of the industry. The ceremony was attended by more than 200 industry professionals from different parts of the country.

Over the 13 years of its existence, the Award has become the most prestigious federal event and annually gathers key players in the industry of meetings and events, as well as business tourism.

This year, 355 companies of the industry competed for the prestigious award in 15 nominations, representing almost all regions of the country - from Murmansk in the north of Russia to Yalta in the south, from Kaliningrad in the west of the country to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky in the east. The intensity of "passions" is evidenced by the fact that more than 800 thousand votes were cast during the online voting for contenders for awards!

The final selection of winners and laureates was made by an expert council, which included more than a hundred recognized professionals in the MICE&BT market. As Natalia Evnevich, head of the organizing committee of the award, notes, “the two-stage mechanism for determining the winners has been operating for several years and allows us to achieve transparency and objectivity in awarding awards.”

The solemn award ceremony, as in previous years, was held as part of the All-Russian MICE Day. The main topic of discussion is business tourism for the development of territories. Participants also discussed strategies for using next-generation infrastructure for events.

The Russian Convention Bureau acted as a partner of the award.
