62nd Annual General Meeting of the International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers will be held in St. Petersburg in 2021.

The decision to hold an event in Russia was made by the international community following the presentation of a presentation by the Russian Convention Bureau. The event annually gathers more than 150 participants, representatives of the industry.

The International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Manufacturers (IISRP) is an international non-profit trade association uniting more than 50 organizations and industry enterprises in 23 countries of the world, representing more than 90% of the global synthetic rubber production. The organization was founded in 1960, headquartered in Houston, Texas.

Director of the Russian Convention Bureau Alexei Kalachev commented: “According to the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), the largest number of events held are congresses, forums and symposia from 150 to 1000 people. According to statistics, meetings of associations on topics related to technology show the largest growth. Such events provide an opportunity to evaluate local specialists, demonstrate their achievements in a particular area, and also integrate them into the international community ”.
