Leading industries
The industrial face of Vladivostok is defined, first of all, by the fishing industry and mechanical engineering. In the city, tens of thousands of fishermen work on vessels of Vostoktransflot and Dalmoreprodukt. Fishing vessels and floating processing factories plow the waters not only of the Pacific ocean, but also of the Indian and Arctic ocean.
