Within one day, OCTOBER 10, four industry events will be held in the President Hotel rooms: the MICE industry - driver of the economic development of Russian regions conference and the BE IN RUSSIA / top 100 super workshop, which will bring together MICE customers and MICE -sites, display facilities, service providers. Teams from five regions of Russia (Kaliningrad, Sochi, Voronezh, Crimea, Rostov-on-Don) will fight for the high marks of the competent jury and audience sympathy in the traditional MICE battle of the regions of Russia. At the end of business events, the 10th anniversary ceremony of the professional Award in the field of business tourism and the MICE - Russian Business Travel & MICE Award will be held. The award was established in 2010 in order to promote and develop business tourism and congress services in Russia.

Thematic tracks of the business discussion: analysis of opportunities and discussion of the MICE potential of the Russian Federation, the development of international and interregional cooperation through attracting large business events, strategies to increase the investment attractiveness of the regions through ensuring the growth of MICE infrastructure as a tool for communication between economic entities, and the formation of a MICE map of Russia.

The organizers of the project are the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the ANO “Project Office for the Development of the Industry of Business Events”, Concord Group of Companies, the BE IN RUSSIA / Be in Russia project, the tourist business Media Holding, with the participation of the Committee for Physical Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth Affairs of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

The strategic partners of the project are the largest industry communities: the Russian Convention Bureau (RCB), the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF), the ABT-ASTE Business Travel Association, the Association of Directors of Communications and Corporate Media (AKMR), and RBC Business News Agency. Representatives of federal and regional executive authorities in the field of tourism and entrepreneurship development, professional organizers of business events, Russian and foreign corporate customers, leading operators of the meeting industry market, representatives of infrastructure facilities, industry and business media will take part in the events of the All-Russian MICE Day.

ON OCTOBER 11, 2019, at the invitation of the Administration of the Tula region, a study visit of industry professionals to the region will take place. An intensive one-day program for exploring MICE objects is planned. The hero city of Tula left an indelible mark on Russian history. The homeland of famous craftsmen and gunsmiths is replete with memorable and interesting places that attract not only Russians, but also many foreigners. New points of attraction appear on the MICE map of Russia!

The development of the MICE industry plays one of the key roles in the development of the country's economy: in increasing the share of non-oil exports, in the future the further use of the 2018 World Cup infrastructure, in promoting the Russian regions their tourism products for business guests, and ensuring the growth of MICE infrastructure as a tool for communication between economic entities.

Conducting MICE events in the regions of Russia gives a significant impetus to the development of regional infrastructure, improving the level of services, the development of small and medium enterprises, youth involvement, and the creation of new jobs.
