On June 28, Yekaterinburg will host MICE Day in the Urals - this is the second event of the project “All-Russian MICE Day in the Russian Regions”. On June 27-29, more than 100 representatives of corporations and business travel agencies, experienced experts in the field of event organization, representatives of business media, as well as leaders of the congress and exhibition industry will gather in Yekaterinburg.

The business program will be very full of business sessions and cultural and educational events. Within the framework of MICE Day, a general meeting of RUEF members will be held, a workshop in BE IN RUSSIA @ IN THE URAL !, a meeting of the RF CCI expert group, ABT-ASTE educational sessions will be held, and on the eve a general meeting of members of the Russian Convention Bureau will be held.

The main theme of the business program: MICE industry growth points in Russian regions. How to attract exhibition and congress organizers to your territory?

Strategy: demonstration of the region’s unique capabilities for international market experts, corporate customers and agencies, business and specialized media.

The All-Russian MICE Day is planned in the ultramodern congress hall of the Ekaterinburg-Expo International Exhibition Center, which will host major international events in July this year - the Global Summit of Production and Industrialization (GMIS) and the INNOPROM International Industrial Exhibition.

The opening of the new Expohall will allow the Urals to become the third region after Moscow and St. Petersburg by the availability of professional congress and exhibition centers of international level.

Yekaterinburg also has good logistic reachability, experience hosting guests at the 2018 World Cup, original gastronomy based on local products and a vibrant tourism brand, as well as the willingness of regional authorities to develop business tourism in their region.
