At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Russian Convention Bureau signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the State Institution "Center for Export Development and Promotion 'Kyrgyz Export'" under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The document was signed by Sagid Zaremukov, Director of the Russian Convention Bureau, and Urmat Takirov, Director of the Center.

The key objectives of the Memorandum include:

• developing economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Kyrgyz Republic in the convention and exhibition industry, business and event tourism;

• providing effective support and assistance in establishing business ties between entrepreneurs from the Russian Federation and the Kyrgyz Republic.

The parties see mutual organization of business missions on relevant economic sectors as promising areas of cooperation.
