The memorandum was signed by the director of the LLC "RESOF EXPO" Akhmadzhon Tadzhibaev and the director of the Russian Convention Bureau (RCB) Sagid Zaremukov. The signing of the Memorandum took place following the agreements reached by the parties at the XIII Eurasian Event Forum (EFEA).

The LLC "RESOF EXPO" company represents the international exhibition center "SOF EXPO Samarkand", which is a center for exhibitions, congresses, forums, major events that meet international standards, and acts as an effective platform for presenting the latest developments of local and foreign manufacturers in various industries.

The memorandum was signed with the aim of developing economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan in terms of the congress and exhibition industry, business and event tourism, and expanding the exchange of information in the development of advanced industry experience.

One of the tools of interaction is cooperation in the event industry, as an integral part of non-resource exports, by increasing the number of business tourists - participants in congress and exhibition events, as well as in terms of creating the necessary conditions for the active participation of representatives of both countries in exhibitions, fairs, scientific and industrial events congresses and business forums.
