The agreement was signed by the President of the All-Russian public organization "Union of Translators of Russia" (UTR) Olga Ivanova and director of the Russian Convention Bureau (RCB) Sagid Zaremukov. The signing took place at the site of the 1st International Forum of Young Translators, organized on the initiative of the Board of the Union of Translators of Russia.

The Russian Convention Bureau has a long history of cooperation with the Russian Union of Translators. In particular, joint work was carried out to apply for holding the Congress of the International Federation of Translators (FIT) in the country.

In the current geopolitical conditions, the parties see new promising areas for cooperation in the international arena. A new vector of interaction with foreign countries requires the presence of specialists with knowledge of the languages of these countries, including for working at international forums. Also, the RCB and the UTR are considering new formats of work within the framework of international associations, attracting and holding events.
