The creation of the National Convention Bureau of the Republic of Belarus was announced at the site of the II International Tourism Forum

The delegation of the Russian Convention Bureau took part in the Forum, sharing their expertise and analytics on the event potential of the Republic of Belarus. As part of the expert session “The place and role of professional associations and international organizations in the development of business tourism and congress and exhibition activities,” RCB director Sagid Zaremukov presented the research data “Rating of the event potential of the capitals of the CIS, BRICS and SCO member states” (developed by the Exhibition Scientific-Research Institute R&C), and also highlighted practical issues of the activities of the convention bureau.

In the near future, it is also planned to open a new Minsk International Exhibition Center under the management of the Belexpo company. It will include:

• 37 thousand sq. m, of which over 15 thousand sq. m of indoor exhibition space and 20 thousand sq. m of open exhibition space,

• 5 transformable congress halls for 2000 people

• 20 conference rooms for 200-300 people

One of the large halls will have equipment with a telescopic effect.

The delegation of the NKB and VNITS R&C visited the site of the future exhibition center next to Lakeside park on the shore of the Tsnyansky reservoir.
