Russian Convention Bureau attending MEET IN SOCHI Congress Business Program

Being in a trend is one of the success factors in the modern world. On November 19, within the framework of the MEET IN SOCHI forum, a strategic session of the Russian Convention Bureau was held, where market participants discussed the main trends and development opportunities for the event industry in Russia and the world, and industry leaders shared their experiences.

The moderator of the strategic session was Alexey Kalachev, director of the Russian Convention Bureau. He opened the strategic session with a speech on contemporary trends in the event industry.

The speakers with expertise and practical cases at the session were representatives of the RCB member companies: Ekaterina Moskvina, deputy general director of Gefest Capital, Andrey Glushkin, executive director and Kovalenko Alexey, technical director of Main Division, Anton Vazimov, commercial Director of HMS Expo, Pavel Muzychenko, Sales Director of Gradi Expo "Graphic Design Expo".

On the second day of the forum, as part of the “Industry of business events through the eyes of industry leaders” block, the director of the RCB, AlexeyKalachev, made a presentation “Business events industry. Economic effect and development prospects. ” In his report, he voiced the socio-economic, tax and image effect that business events brought to the region bring. By the example of the largest events already held in Russia and the tenders won with the support of the RCB, indicators were demonstrated that spoke of the huge potential for the development of the event industry in Russia.

Also, a presentation was held - “Mechanisms of interaction between market players and the RCB” - as part of the Congress Industry session. The unity of market players is the key to the formation of the congress industry in Russia.
