Today, the first meeting of the Russian Convention Bureau with representatives of industry and scientific associations was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. The purpose of the event, which was attended by representatives of leading associations, was to present the capabilities of the RCB in terms of support in attracting international rotation events of associations.
The vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation Vladimir Dmitriev addressed the meeting with a welcoming speech, including assessing the importance of congress activities for the country's economy. The Director of the RCB Alexey Kalachev spoke about the basic procedures for interaction between the congress bureau and associations and the assistance that the congress bureau provides to scientific and industry communities in the process of applying for the right to conduct international events.
Chairman of the Board of the African Business Initiative Union Natalia Tsayzer and Head of the project for the development of cycling culture Let's bike it! Vladimir Kumov shared the experience of Russian associations in attracting relevant international events.
Following the meeting, a discussion was held in which the participants asked practical questions about the interaction algorithm and the problems that associations face when applying for international events.
According to the director of the RCB, Alexey Kalachev, this meeting should lay the foundation for closer interaction between the congress bureau and scientific and industry associations and the formation of the program of ambassadors of the RCB from leading representatives of professional communities.
