On November 10, at the site of AZIMUT City Hotel Olympic Moscow, a partner event of the Russian Congress Bureau was held with the participation of the ANO «Project Office for the Development of Tourism and Hospitality of Moscow». The participants of the meeting were representatives of scientific and industry associations and unions with which the Russian Convention Bureau interacts in terms of attracting congress events.

The meeting included a presentation of the program of grant support for scientific and business events held in Moscow, as well as a discussion of issues of interaction between industry communities to increase events in the capital.

Director of the Russian Convention Bureau Sagid Zaremukov presented the RCB's plans to work with associations in the new geopolitical conditions, and new promising projects.

Maya Anurova, Head of the Office for the Development of Business Tourism of the ANO «Project Office for the Development of Tourism and Hospitality of Moscow», presented the results of the grant support program for business and youth tourism in the current year. According to the department's statistics, 63 projects worth 113.9 million rubles received a positive opinion from the expert commission. Management plans for the development of business tourism for 2023 were also announced.

One of the objectives of the meeting was to improve the interaction between the parties involved in the organization of business events. Representatives of scientific and industry communities gave feedback on the current grant support program, as well as proposals for its improvement for subsequent periods. The discussion of the format of interaction between industry communities and the ANO «Project Office for the Development of Tourism and Hospitality of Moscow» for the effective attraction of association events to the capital was held in the format of a brainstorming session. The conclusions and proposals of the meeting participants will be used to form new measures of financial and non-financial support for business events in Moscow.
