The interaction of the parties is aimed at developing the congress and exhibition industry, territories, event and business tourism.

On June 4, on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, two trilateral cooperation agreements were signed between the Russian Convention Bureau (RCB) Association, the CIS Business Center for Economic Development Association, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and JSC National Company QazExpoCongress.

The parties are joining forces to develop economic cooperation between the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the CIS+ countries in the field of the congress and exhibition industry, business and event tourism.

The document was signed by: on behalf of the CIS Business Center - Chairman of the Committee on Construction and Architecture Konstantin Avagimov, on behalf of the Russian Convention Bureau - Director of the RCB Sagid Zaremukov, on behalf of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Deputy Chairman Vitaly Vabishchevich, on behalf of JSC National Company "QazExpoCongress" - Deputy Chairman of the Board Daulet Erkimbaev.

Chairman of the Committee on Construction and Architecture of the Business Center for Economic Development of the CIS Konstantin Avagimov, following the signing ceremony, noted: “The trilateral cooperation agreements signed today on the sidelines of SPIEF between the Business Center of the CIS and the Russian Convention Bureau with the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and JSC National Company QazExpoCongress will significantly expand our capabilities to implement joint cooperation projects on areas of congress and exhibition activities, as well as in the areas of intersectoral interaction, business and event tourism, and territorial development. Today we have taken a big step in strengthening the dialogue of integrations in the CIS+ and Greater Eurasia, building effective communication between the businesses of our countries.”

Director of the Russian Convention Bureau Sagid Zaremukov commented: “The signed agreements open up new opportunities for the development of a common business space in the CIS countries. The convention and exhibition industry today is an effective tool for economic integration, promotion of territories and the formation of international partnerships. We are ready to combine expertise and resources to implement joint projects that contribute to the sustainable development of our countries.”
